I am surprised that SimTower was never ported to the SNES. I played it a lot on the PC and it was fun, but the SNES version wass just sooo slooww. I didn't play much of the SNES port of SimCity 2000, as you mentioned it was not a great port at all. One of those times where less would have been more. I was excited at first, thinking "Well, I loved SimCity, so expanding to a whole world should be great!!". I remmeber renting SimEarth quite a bit and being horribly confused on what to do. It is a little dated now with the sequels that came out for the PC providing more/different options as can be expected. SimCity was one of the first games I owned for the SNES and I played it a lot. I thought this review was going to be about Sim games in general.
